Members, VIPs and Racing Queensland Licensees ONLY have access to the main carpark
Public parking is available at the Bundamba State School – $10 per car
Persons with disabilities are able to access the car park at the Bundamba State School. Persons with disabilities can also be dropped off near the front gate.

Shuttle Bus

A shuttle bus will run from the racetrack to Ipswich CBD and Ipswich Station from 4pm to 8pm.

Road Closures

TL Cooney Ave is only accessible by public transport and emergency services.

Queensland Rail

Please refer to Queensland Rail for times.


Open at 9am. You do not need to print your ticket for entry.
You can check in from your phone. Check your ticket for your specific Gate entry.
Infield gates
Will be closed and opened when races allow
Packaged services open at 11am
Public & members services
Start at 10am. Reciprocal membership is unavailable for the Ipswich Cup.

Fashions on the Field


The Fashions on the Fields stage is located at the courtyard just inside the main gates.            


Heats will commence at approximately 12:00pm. Finals will be run immediately following the conclusion of the heats.

Ipswich Cup Infield Festival

DJ festival will commence at 11am. Only those with a Corona Infield Marquee ticket or a Private Infield Marquee ticket have access to the DJ festival.

18 Years + Event


The Ipswich Cup is strictly an 18+ Event. Government Issued photo identification will be required at the gate. Accepted types of identification include drivers licence, learners permit, valid passport, adult proof of age card (Keypass ID) and foreign drivers licence (must include photo and date of birth). Final approval will be at the discretion of  Security on the day. In the best interest of all parties, we are unable to welcome children or anyone under the age of 18 years of any patron including owners and trainers to the June 19 meeting. To avoid disappointment please make arrangements prior to attending.

After Party

The after party band will get you dancing after the last race and will play until 7:30pm

Licensees / Owners

Only Racing Queensland licensees can access the grounds via the horse gate or jockeys may enter through gate 9.

Owners are able to access the grounds through Gate 2. You must be listed in the race book as an owner to receive a pass. A total of 10 passes per horse are available but you must be listed as an owner in the race book. Syndicates should email their list of 10 names to prior to race day. Owners are able to access the Owners Precinct as shown on the MAP for their race and race prior.

TICKET CHANGES - you are able to change names on the ticket via the email you received on purchase - click here for instructions. Names will not be checked at the gate although you will be required to digital check in for Covid-19 purposes.

GATES - Please refer to your ticket for Gate entry. You are unable to enter through an alternative gate.

RECIPROCAL membership - Unfortunately we are unable to offer reciprocal membership at feature meetings or the Ipswich Cup. 

Other Questions 

CHAIRS/ESKIES - Please note, if you plan to bring a chair you must contact the Office on (07) 3282 1500 for approval before Wednesday, 16 June. No eskies will be permitted.

CLOAK ROOM - There are cloak rooms available on both the outfield and infield areas.
