Race meeting updates - October 23 New

Following consultation with both the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission and the Ipswich Turf Club, Racing Queensland advises that the Club's race meeting scheduled for this Thursday, October 23, has been rescheduled to Monday, October 27.
The transfer has been deemed necessary given extreme heat forecast for Thursday, with participant and equine welfare at the forefront of considerations.
The change has resulted in changes to the deadlines relative to the meeting:
- Current nominations and weights will be retained;
- Acceptances: Thursday, October 23 - 11am; and
- Jockeys: Thursday, October 23 - 1pm.
Race times for the meeting will be advised in the coming days.
