PINK Ribbon Cup winner Ratenotice was one of three last start Ipswich winners to win on Saturday's feature card at the Gold Coast, underlining the benefit in using Ipswich as a leapfrog to bigger successes.

Ratenotice is trained by Emma Fouchard, who regularly uses the Ipswich training facilities as a key part of her training program.

Ratenotice joined earlier winners Metaphorically (Jeff Dunn) and Murkado (Richard Laming) as last start Ipswich winners to leap to Saturday metropolitan success at the Gold Coast on Saturday.

Additionally, Precise Star, who made it five on end in the Class 6 Handicap, was an Ipswich winner two starts earlier.

"The ITC was thrilled to see Emma take out the feature race on the card with Ratenotice, which had impressed first up at Ipswich prior," ITC Chief Executive Nathan Exelby said. "Emma and her team have become great supporters of the ITC, recently coming on board as a sponsor, so it's fantastic to see the stable enjoying this kind of success.

"The overall results at the Gold Coast are testament to how Ipswich is a fantastic launching pad for metropolitan success.

"Trainers can bring improving horses to Ipswich confident they are going to be served up a very good racing surface, enabling them to use the venue as a springboard to bigger successes."

Ipswich is currently undergoing its annual track renovation, with a return to racing scheduled for early October.
