The Ipswich Turf Club (ITC) and Carlton & United Breweries (CUB) are toasting the start of the new five-year deal.
ITC chairman Wayne Patch said it was a unanimous decision made by the Committee to enter into an agreement with CUB as the exclusive beer and cider supplier.
“With the Club’s redevelopment kicking off this year we are set to embark on attracting a new demographic to the venue. We are confident CUB has the product range to deliver the goods and together help us grow our brands in the Ipswich region,” Mr Patch said.
“As part of this exclusive partnership, CUB will also now be an integral partner of the Ipswich Cup and over the next few months we will be working with CUB to develop the highly anticipated ticket and package offerings for the Ipswich Cup.
CUB’s Regional Sales Director of Queensland, Michael McKeown said “We’re thrilled to start this partnership with the ITC, a club that holds such rich history and iconic events, but more so we’re excited about the future plans and vision for the club.
“Our two companies have great synergies and we look forward to working with the team on the upcoming Ipswich Cup.”
Mr Patch also acknowledged the previous beer partnership with Lion Brewing.
“We have had a long history with our previous Beer partner, Lion, and we thank them for supporting the Club for so many years.”
